We recently put the Amazon Basics Flea & Tick Topical Treatment to the test alongside its predecessor, Solimo, for our X-Large dogs ranging from 89 to 132 pounds. Both products aim to combat pesky infestations, but the shift in branding sparked curiosity. We applied the treatments to our pets, noting the application process was straightforward with both, though Amazon Basics’ packaging felt more modern and user-friendly. The effectiveness? While Solimo was praised for its potent formula, Amazon Basics delivered comparable results without the stronger scent. Our dogs showed no signs of adverse reactions, and the 3-count package provided a reasonable supply for regular use. It’s a subtle update, but one that balances cost, convenience, and safety. For now, we’re leaning on Amazon Basics as a reliable, affordable alternative-though we’re keeping an eye on long-term performance.
