Zivko Robot: Surprising Insight vs STEM Toy... Assembled & Tested

We’ve always been curious about how STEM toys blend play with learning, so we put the Elenco Teach Tech “Zivko The Robot” to the test. Assembling Zivko was a mix of patience and perseverance, with clear instructions guiding us through each step. Once built, we were impressed by its interactive A/I capabilities, especially the infrared sensor that made it react to movement. The robot’s responses felt surprisingly intuitive, offering more insight than we expected from a kids’ toy. While it’s designed for ages 10+, we found some challenges even us adults faced in mastering its commands. That said, Zivko’s engaging features make it an excellent tool for sparking curiosity about robotics and coding. The quality of assembly parts was decent, though minor assembly glitches required some troubleshooting. Overall, it’s a satisfying blend of hands-on fun and technical learning, proving STEM toys can be surprisingly insightful.
