Versus TAG-101: Low-Freq Splash vs. 110V Power… Surprising Insight!
We recently tested the Audio Signal Generator ECUTEE Low Frequency Signal Generator 10Hz-1MHz, model TAG-101, and were intrigued by its versatility. The dual output options (110V and low freq splash) brought some unexpected pros and cons to light. While the 110V power handling is robust for high-power applications, the low-frequency splash mode offers a more refined approach for sensitive testing. The adjustable range (10Hz-1MHz) proved useful, though we noted minor calibration quirks in the manual that required user adjustments. Overall, the TAG-101 surprised us with its balance between power and precision, especially for budget-conscious users. Its compact design and clear display make it a practical choice, but we’d suggest pairing it with a higher-resolution oscilloscope for optimal results.
